The Dickeyville Garden Club was founded in 1940 to assist in beautifying Dickeyville; to help members with their gardens through the exchange of ideas and experiences; to stimulate interest in cooperative gardening; to aid in the protection of flowers, shrubs and trees, foster a clean and attractive haven for birds and wildlife; and to aid in the preservation of the Dickeyville environment.
What does the Garden Club do?
- The common grounds around our village are kept looking fresh & inviting by the Garden Club. Your dues help defray this expense.
- Every spring we hold a plant sale that allows you to chose from a list of plants that are delivered right here in the village. We also sell evergreens or conduct wreath workshops for the winter holidays.
- Every December the Garden Club holds a Pancake Breakfast at the Church Hall for the entire community. We also sponsor a Bonfire & Soup Fest in the Park each fall.
