Blue star amsonia is easy to grow. You'll get the best fall foliage color if grown in full sun, but flowers last longer if given some afternoon shade. Cut back the stems by about 6" after flowering to help keep stems upright and to shape plants into a nice foliage mound. Maryland NATIVE
